Global Settings

View and manage settings for the shop, these settings are configurations to be applied for every user and machine in this shop. Only administrators or users with permission to manage shops, can modified these settings. If the setting name doesn’t sound familiar or have questions about what it is for. Please contact AIC Rail.

• Start of Day. – This setting will allow the system to do search based on the time selected. If you select anything greater than 12 pm, the system will assume you want to start your day at that time, the day before. For example, setting the start of day at 10 pm, means a “Today search” will return components from yesterday at 10 pm to today at 10 pm.
• Start of week. – It’s the same concept as Start of Day but for this setting, it’s about the day of the week to start searching.
• Feature Request Email – News Feed URL – Business rules URL – Recalls URL – Support URL . – All this settings is to allow AIC support to quickly fix or change any URL that Shop Manager requires.
• Lubrication Types. – List of lubrication types used in production, this is a comma-separated list.
