This feature is only available for a Standalone Component Inspection license. For standard licenses please contact your IT department or Contact our support team for assistance.

Use the backup database feature to create a backup file (.bak) of your existing database in the Standalone application, this will allow you make a much easier migration from one physical computer or server to another.

To start the process simply click on the “Backup Database” button and select a folder to save the file.

After a moment, a message will appear confirming the backup file has been created.

Restore

If you wish to move your current Standalone application to a new computer, the first thing you need to do is to create a backup file of your database, after creating the .bak file, run Standalone Component Inspection installer and follow the instructions until you get to the installation type screen.

Select “Load from backup” and select the backup file of your database. Once it load the file, It will automatically load the name of the database. Click “Next”

And continue the process like a new installation of the Standalone Component Inspection app.
