Change PRV Lookups in Shop Manager

In the event that the Approval Number and Base Model number is updated by Railinc, you will need to make changes to each valve that is changed.

In this example we will edit the Base Model Number “A-1000 Series” and the Approval Number “PRD092020”.

These values will need to be updated for each of your locations. You can update these values by logging into Shop Manager with each location’s Admin accounts.

Open the Options window.

Under System Settings > Components > Click on the Pencil to edit the PR Valve component.

For Base Model Number, select “Elements” then select “D104” and click on the pencil to edit.

Select “Lookups” then select the element you wish to update and click the pencil to edit.

In this example we will edit the Base Model Number (D104) and select the “A-1000 Series”, change the Name and Value to “A-1000”. Click “Ok” and “Save”.

Follow the same steps above to update the Approval Number (D111). In this example we will change the number from “PRD092020” to “PRD202125”. You will also need to update the “Condition” value for this lookup.

Restart Component Inspection to load these new changes.
