Wheel Press Recorder version 6.6.4.18

Wheel Press Recorder version 6.6.4.18

released November 1, 2023

Bug Fixes

  • Calibration dialogs appear as blank after a previous update.
  • Data Validations, Business Rules, or Requirements that depend on one or more Inspection Elements were not updating correctly.
  • Calculated Output tool in the Options dialog was not sizing correctly for expressions that are more than a few lines long.
  • ExcessiveDropoff misfit detection was not being applied when enabled.
  • The Customer was not defaulting to the same value as the previous wheelset, even if it was configured to do so.
  • Reset Sequence Number on time of day, when the time was set to a value earlier than logon occurs, caused the sequence number to reset on login, and failed to reset again at the next time of day occurrence.
  • In some instances, WPR failed to record a chart for the second wheel if the force or distance was greater than the StartForce and StartDistance when wheel 2 was being initialized.
  • Element requirements that depended on the wheelset Customer failed to enforce the requirement unless the assembly configuration was changed.
  • When using the PressEnable interlock with the press controls, WPR was only checking for PressEnable at the beginning of the sequence, but not before each wheel.
  • Output tags were not getting written to the data acquisition device. If Outputs were configured, they should have been written during the Initialize step for each wheel.
  • OutOfTemplate misfit detection was creating false positives for some charts.
  • When editing a wheelset using the Legacy History screen, requirements, business rules, and validations were not being enforced.

Updates

  • Language resources are now based on the Culture preference for the logged in user. If no culture is specified for the user, the machine settings will be used.
  • WPR now requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8
  • Elements can now have Alerts declared, similar to business rules. These Alerts can be configured as an Error (prevents saving data), a Warning (user must confirm before saving), or a Message.
  • When recording a chart, if there are less than 10 data points when the end of mount conditions are met, it will be considered a ‘false start’ and will reset to record a new chart when the start conditions are met again.
  • Added a diagnostic mode for OPC UA and OPC DA data acquisition interfaces to record all data points read from or written to the device. This feature must be enabled from the Data Acquisition settings in the Options dialog.

Features

  • Calculated Outputs feature added to write values to a data acquisition device based on an expression or calculation.
  • DAQ Status popup was added to the menu bar for viewing tag values without having to go into the Options dialog.
