Component Inspection version 6.6.4.34

Component Inspection version 6.6.4.34

released May 19, 2025

Bug Fixes

  • On startup, a lot of database queries were being executed to load some of the machine settings. This caused slow startup performance for customers with remote databases or slow network connections. The startup sequence has been better optimized to reduce the number of queries required to load the settings.

Updates

  • Assembly Configuration default values were causing subcomponents to get created even when that is not the desired behavior. After this update, subcomponents will only get created if the default values are set at the machine level (or if a user records data for that component). Assembly Configuration defaults will only create new subcomponents if the ‘Auto Create’ option is also selected.

Features

  • Machine Inspections can now be configured with a frequency (Shift, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly) of how often they must be performed. If an inspection has not been performed within the specified frequency the user will be required to perform the machine inspection before they can continue their component inspections.
  • Component Inspection can now interface with the AIC Gage application to record which gauges are being used for an inspection, and to validate that the gauges are in calibration. For more information about AIC Gage, please contact our sales team at Sales@aicrail.com.
